How I got into gaming: I played board games with my family for as long as I can remember. I started playing Dungeons &Dragons during 2nd Edition with my friends from school. One summer they came back from scout camp with Magic: the Gathering and my passion took off from there. I also enjoy cosplaying as Jaime Lannister.

How I got into gaming: I started playing Magic in 1995, but didn’t really get into gaming until 2003 with the WWE card game. I am an honorary member of the Geneseo Area Gaming Group (GAGG) and have attended their convention, Running GAGG, every year since 2004. I am also a Regional judge for Magic: the Gathering.

How I got into gaming: Started collecting Star Wars cards when I was a kid. Was never good at playing, but that turned into playing Pokémon and Magic, which lead me to Millennium. My interest in gaming grew from there over the years and has had me get into playtesting, attempts at design, podcasts/talk shows and playing more games.

How I got into gaming: When I was about 10 years old, my dad brought my brother and me to our camp for a weekend. My dad’s friend had just given him Battle Cry, and we spent the next few days playing it. I loved all the strategy in Battle Cry, so I started asking for similar games for Christmas and my birthday. Soon I had many games to play with my family as well as teach to my friends. Now I am a gamer!

How I got into gaming: I have always loved board games! As a young child, two of my favorites were Rivers, Roads & Rails and Snail’s Pace Race. Growing up my grandparents taught me Farkle, Mexican Dominoes and a myriad of card games. Family vacations to this day include at least two fully packed bag of games of all sorts: 5 Crowns, Lost Treasure, 7 Wonders, The Settlers of Catan. I am always up for playing games and love learning new ones!
